Sing2gether is closing its doors…

After what has been a difficult year for sing2gether, the impacts of Covid-19 have really been felt by us as a small business. Despite our best efforts to re-align our approach with the new world we all find ourselves living in through an online choir, and our proposed re-start of face-to-face sessions, we simply do not have sufficient numbers to cover even basic costs, let alone to create our once wonderful choir sound. Whilst we know some of you have told us that you may be able to return in the near future, unfortunately this would still not bring the numbers needed to make the choir a viable or successful option for us all.

It is with heavy hearts that we take the decision to close our doors permanently with immediate effect. For those of you that have paid up for September, you will receive a refund shortly.

Thank You!

We’d like to take this opportunity to firstly thank all of our members, some who have been with us since we opened our doors over 6 years ago. You have made our journey a truly memorable one, and have made us proud of how far you’ve all come individually, and as a choir. We have achieved so much in our relatively short time, and this is down to each of your own dedication, hard work and enthusiasm and we are forever grateful for this.

A big thank you also to everyone that has supported our choir over the years at concerts and performances, together we have raised thousands of pounds for local and national charities.

All the best, Mike and Stuart

  3. So very sorry to hear this news. There is always a foundation of members on which to base a choir when the situation changes.

All the best to you and your families Mike and Stuart.

  4. Dear Mike and Stuart, I can’t believe it, although I understand your reasons.

I have loved every minute of choir since the very first session, even standing in arctic conditions in Sutton shopping centre! You two, and all my good friends in the choir, have enriched my life for the last six years. We have had some wonderful experiences that I’ll never forget, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I will definitely join you on a zoom meeting although I may well cry, as I am doing now.

I hope you may consider a new start once this virus has been defeated, but in the meantime, you have my deep affection and appreciation.

Love to all my choir friends, Sue

  5. Morning Mike and Stuart,

I know I’m not part of your choir, but, I’ve watched your progress, I’m genuinely sad that you are stopping though no fault of your own. You have both worked so hard and put your time in for others enjoyment and good causes have benefited, as Stuart’s Mom I’m glad to see you both enjoyed what you achieved, well done, I’m proud.

Love and regards always, Marion. Xxxx. 🏆🥇🥇.
